The Center for Student Involvement is mainly known for hosting Homecoming and USF Week. However, did you know that this student-employed organization hold events all throughout the year that is of no cost for students?

Here are the top 3 events that you should be checking out throughout the semester:

  1. Movies on the Lawn
Spending some time away from homework, hanging out with friends on the MSC lawn and watching a good movie being projected against the Bookstore wall sounds like an ideal night to me! This event happens every other Wednesday and showcases movies that are newly released to USF students. Plus, there’s even free popcorn and drinks. What better way to unwind during the middle of a stressful week of classes?
  2. Patio Tuesday
Taking place during the early afternoon of the first Tuesday of each month, Patio Tuesday is a one day event that you don’t want to miss out on. Each time there is a new theme, but will always include free food, activities, prizes and a good start to your day. Past themes include: Tailgate Tuesday, Tropical Tuesday, Mardi Gras, Masquerade Ball and many more.
  3. Bulls Nite Out
Bulls Nite Out is an event that happens every weekend. This week there was Lollanobooza, where students could come out and learn more about alcohol awareness while enjoying some free food, games and other activities. Past events included: comedy shows, pajama parties, pool parties and many more.
