Discounted Auto Repair

For those of you who are just like me, car maintenance is not your forte. I can’t change a spare tire, install a new battery or, God forbid, attempt to change my own oil.  Before I moved to Tampa, my dad would take care of all my car repairs and expenses. Now that I am an hour and a half away from home, I can’t depend on others to babysit my car.

Last semester, I was introduced to Midas and I haven’t looked back ever since.

Midas really knows how to take care of their customers, especially college students. Midas offers oil changes, brake/tire repair and free vehicle inspections. They also offer a pre-approved card credit which allows you to get rebate on their services.

I recently got new brakes for my car and paid under $200. After, they provide me with a $20 off coupon on top of my 10 percent USF discount. It was unbelievable!

Parts and labor can be costly, but Midas truly has your best interest at heart. Just walking in the door, I can tell that this establishment is not money hungry. Being that I am a young college student, most companies take advantage of my financial status and hike up prices. But, the staff at Midas is friendly and knowledgeable about what will get your vehicle operating properly for a reasonable price.

I highly recommend them!

Check out their website for additional coupons.

  1. This is so good to know! I hate getting my car fixed when I’m away from home. How do you know who to trust? It’s the worst. Just last year I had to get my brakes fixed and I went to a pep boys who charged a lot, and made mistakes. They left a bolt loose and then told me “there’s no way it was their fault”, after waiting for an hour they discovered it was their fault and fixed it. They sent me on my way without any kind of coupon, discount or apology. So frustrating.
