Sometimes, finding a good time on a budget is difficult because we tend to overlook so many options. You’d be surprised to hear that the Ringling Art Museum offers some interesting events that pique the interests of everyone, including college kids.

Art After 5 is one of the Ringling’s events that allows ticketholders to experience some of the social and circus exhibits from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Having a ticket to Art After 5 also allows free entrance to other events that the museum may be holding on that same day. Tickets are only $10 for an adult and $5 for children, so any age is welcome. It’s not only a fun event for college students, but possibly even parents looking to take a trip with their kids for the evening. Art After 5 happens every Thursday, so if you miss one, you’ll have another chance to visit again.

One recent event that may appeal to some college kids is Ringling Underground. Ringling Underground is a way to show some of the museum’s art, while also playing live music for visitors to jam out to. The event takes place this Thursday at 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. They will be playing a mixture of new artists, so you might find a new style of music you like. For college students with their students IDs, admission is free.

Even if you aren’t a college student and you want to enjoy the festivities, admission is free with the purchase of an Art After 5 ticket.  Why not grab your friends and take a trip to the Ringling Museum for a night out?
