On Nov. 6, First Friday will take over St. Petersburg. But what is First Friday exactly? On the first Friday of every month, downtown St. Pete turns into a huge block party. Whether you are going there to have a couple of drinks with some friends, enjoy the local bands that perform or even just to try the great food that is offered, you will always find something that interest you.
Being a student at University of South Florida, I always hear people talking about going, but they are always unsure on how to get there and back. With First Friday being all the way in St. Pete, it is a lengthy drive for most students and it’s also unsafe if the students decide to drink while they’re there. So how do you enjoy First Friday but not run the risk of driving? The Tampa Bay Brew Bus is the answer.
This Brew Bus allows Tampa locals to get in on the First Friday tradition in St. Pete, without having to figure out who the designated driver will be for the night. This roundtrip shuttle bus is only $25 and includes beer that will be served onboard. The Brew Bus will be departing from Irish 31 in Hype Park at two different times and will have you in downtown St. Pete in no time.
But why chose the Brew Bus and not just split an Uber with your friends? Simple. You get 10 percent off Brew Bus Brewing beer at Yard of Ale, MacDintons, Caddy’s on Central and The Kitchen. That is a pretty sweet deal if you ask me! You can book your tickets for the Brew Bus here!
