Who doesn’t love a good visit to the movies?  From the classic popcorn to the film itself, the movie theater experience is one like no other.  An inescapable aspect of movie theaters, however, is the price. How are college students supposed to go to the movies when you could buy groceries for practically the same price?  Even with a student discount, ticket prices are still pretty steep.  The answer is simple: head to Muvico Theaters!  They are located right off Bruce B. Downs Blvd, conveniently close to USF.

Muvico has deals on movie tickets and concessions throughout the week.  On Tuesdays, you can choose a popcorn, candy and drink for only $2 each!  With normal prices ranging from $6 to $8 for just popcorn, “Stimulus Tuesdays” are a deal you don’t want to miss out on.

Another great special offered by Muvico is the “Super Bargain Matinee.”  Every day (yes, every day) from 4-5:30 p.m., movie tickets are only $5.75.  And the best part is, they play every movie that is showing during this time, so everyone has an opportunity to see a film that interests them for a bargain price.

Do you know of any other great deals on movie tickets or concessions in Tampa?  Let me know in the comments!
